So sad! It already is the last day. As usual we did all the normal stuff, except today we changed into our jeans not school uniform. We had breakfast, as usual. We checked out of the hotel and boarded the coach, as usual and headed off to this place called Naragebup Environment Centre. We some turtles, snakes and even sharks!( but small ones) They had many vegetation and chickens. The building is very unique because they used environmentally friendly materials. They also showed us worm farming.

For lunch we had pizza and potato wedges! They were all very yummy. I am really going to miss Perth a lot. It's cooling weather, friendly people...After we had lunch we went to the airport and checked in our luggage. And when we compared plane tickets, I found out that I was sitting beside a boy! But actually he was quite ok. My seat was allocated near the window. When the plane took off, and as it went higher and higher, I could see Australia! It was very big!

It was an afternoon flight, so I think that actually nobody slept at all. Soon, we were high up in the sky. All around us were white fluffy cotton candy clouds. We also challenged each other on a spelling game. We had dinner shortly before reaching Singapore. Shortly, we reached our home sweet home, Singapore. We got our luggage from the conveyor belt and the teachers told us our homework. After that we went out to meet our parents.

This is definitely a school trip I will never forget!!! :) ;)

3:17 AM

I was woken up by the ring of my alarm clock. I then woke up my friends and all of us went to get washed up at changed into our track pants and PE shirt as we were going to another school today, John Septimus Roe Primary School. After washing up, our teachers picked us up and we went downstairs for breakfast,

AFter breakfast we headed off to the school. We had a dance workshop and I think all of us enjoyed it very much although most of us don't dance except for a few. We were kind of shine and all of us moved to the back. Towards the end of the workshop, we splitted up into 2 groups, the local and the Coralites. The locals were very good and when it was our turn, all of us ran to the back. After the dance workshop, we had a game of dodgeball. And poor me, i got hit in the nose! After that, our school's Chinese and Malay dancers performed a dance for us. The local students also performed for us.And they chorographed their own dance moves! After all the dancing, we ate some snacks and headed off to Kings Park.

We ate Kabaab for lunch. We walked around Kings Park and took more pictures. We also went to the Aboriginal Art gallery to do our activity over there. We then boarded the bus to the city malls. The teacher told us to stick together in our yellow cap group so we stuck together and went exploring the place.

After that, we went to a malay food store and ate our dinner there. Before going back to the hotel, we dropped by at the souvenier shop and then we went back to the hotel.

We went to bathe and then went to sleep.ZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.....

2:49 AM

Today we woke up late! We woke up at 6 when we were suppose to meet at the office at 6.15! All those people in the my cabin including, were all freaking out. We all rushed and thankfully we were not late. In fact , I think we were the 2nd or 3rd group to arrive. All of us heaved a sigh of relief. We had breakfast and thanked the owners for making our meals and arranging all the activities for us.

It was quite a long drive from the farm to the school we are going to, Anzac Terrace Primary School. So all of us took a nap as we woke up very early in the morning today. I was actually quite curious on how they study. Our teachers warned us not to speak singlish like huh, lah, leh and more... It was a quite cold as we wearing our school uniforms.

When we reached there, we could see that the school was definitely different from ours. Theirs was a single storey school, but ours was a 4 storey school; they had many playgrounds but we don't even have a single playground! We had a canteen where they sell food, but they have to bring their own food from home. So you can actually see the difference between their school and our school. Oh yeah! I forgotten to mention 1 more thing. It is that they focus more on sports than on studying. But ours focus more on studying than on sports.:(

Our next stop was at Canversham Wildlife park. Hurrah! I haven't been to the zoo for a very very very very very very very... long time! But before we went to the park, we had our lunch. Our lunch was fries with burger. It was quite nice and so was the drink. Talking about the drink, luckily i didn't get the blueberry drink if not my tongue and mouth will be blue. Lydia wanted to trade with me for my coke drink but it was a good thing i refused. Hahahahahahaha! I am so evil! Muaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaackkkkkksssssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A very nice young lady showed us around the zoo and we took many pictures of animals. We got to feed the kangaroos and touch the koalas. I love koalas and kangaroos, they look so cute and innocent! We took pictures of the Tasmanian devils, emu, wombats, koalas, kangaroos, Tasmanian devil and more... After touring around the zoo, we went to the souvenir shop and I bought a key chain from there for my friend! We went to the nougat factory and then to the Esplanade Hotel. We checked into the hotel and our teacher told us to change out of our school uniform as we were going for a walk and have our dinner too! We met downstairs and headed off. We had to walk quite a distance to reach this resteraunt selling Malay food. The food came almost immediately and we started tucking in. We ate rice for dinner with egg, chicken, mutton and vegetables. It was a very delicious dinner indeed. After dinner, we went to a nearby supermarket where the teachers told us to buy some snacks for the next day as we were going to another school. I bought gum and chips.

When we arrived back at the hotel the teachers gave us a UMPC so that we can do our work. The teacher also said that she would be collecting it at 10pm. So me and my roommates came out with a plan whereby one will bathe, while the other will pack her luggage and the other will do the UMPC.

When it was time for the teacher to collect the UMPC, we gave it to her and packed our stuffs for the next day ahead of us.

Everyone with handphones, watches and alarm clocks woke up at the given time. We washed up, changed and went for breakfast. For breakfast we had scrambled eggs, hash brown, baked beans and fish fillet. We did not take long to finish our breakfast, so while waiting, we talked to our friends.

The first activity needed us to split into 2 groups. I can't remember my group's name but i know that the other group's name was Shabalaba Ding Dong(weird name right?) Our first activity was to make the balloons stand by itself and it has to be the same height as the dining chair. And our group was the first one to finish.

Our second activity was to find 10 different leaves, 5 different flowers(i think) and 5 different fruits (i think). And we managed to find all of them, we then went to the office to show the things we collected to the person in charge of this game (her name is Michelle). And do you want to know the results, she said that it was ok! Yay!

The next activity was to collect 5(or was it 4) different bottles and we have to use the toilet paper and we have to stick together as a group and try not to let the toilet paper break(sorry if there are so many 'ands') We had to do it a few times, but finally we managed to collect all of bottles. Hooray again!

Our second last activity was that an egg would be dropped from shoulder height and you have to find a way so that it would not break. Our group collected rocks, grass, leaves and bird feather too! We also used the straws provided for us.Now it is the moment of truth, when Aunty Michelle dropped the egg, there wasn't even a crack. How great is that?!

After that she passed us a sheet of paper that has many pictures on it and that was also our last activity. She told us the instructions and soon we were off finding those pictures. We took quite long finding them although we ran most of the time, we still came in second. What a pity! We were first for the 4 activities. But we came in second for the last!

Anyway we still got the prize. It was actually the same as the other group. So it is kind of fair.

Soon it was lunch time, we had barbecued sausage and meat. We ate the sausage with bread and it was super yummy! We also ate some chicken wings and it was delicious too. When we ate all of this, we were all quite full.

The teachers gave us a few minutes to get our cameras and water bottles as we would be spending the rest of the day outside. When we gathered at the usual spot, we saw a man with his dog and puppies. They were so cute! I also went to pet them. And guess what? He is also going to show us the sheep shearing demo today! The man's dog was actually a sheep dog.

After the man showed us the sheep shearing demo, we got to feed animals like horses, sheeps, oupacas and more. We also named the oupacas names and it was very funny. We then headed to the winery, where they had a wine-making talk.

After the wine-making talk, we went back to our cabin to rest and shower. We went to the office at the given time and had dinner ( I can't remember what we had on that day).

After dinner, we had our campfire night. We sang camp songs and also roasted marsh mallows. We got to see the moon rise too! We went back to our cabin and did our work and reflections. After that, we went to sleep. And get ready to wake up very early in the morning.

We were told back in Singapore that the temperature in Perth was about 18 to 23 degrees Celcius. When I came out of the airport, what greeted me was the coldness of the air. A check revealed that the day temperature was 10 degree celcius! Everybody was shivering to their spine with teeth chattering non-stop. I was worried as I did not bring thick clothing. To keep myself warm, I wore 3 layers of clothes - T-shirt, Jacket and A Wind-Breaker!

We boarded the coach and it took us to Fremantle. At the site, we toured the Monumental Hill where we took pictures of the ancient monuments. Next, we went to the Fishing Boat Harbour where boats of many sizes were seen berthing at the harbour. There were also many seagulls seen flying around the harbour looking for leftover food. After we toured the Fishing Boat Harbour, we went to the Fremantle weekend market.

The teachers asked us to get into groups of 4. My buddy and I went with the two girls from our group. Together, we explored the Fremantle market and visited some shops to buy some souveniers for our friends who missed the chance to go. I bought this keychain, a magnet, a bookmark, badges and more. When it was time, we went to the Chocolate Factory. Hooray!

Actually i expected the chocolate factory to be very big, but it turned out to be quite small. I did not buy any chocolates as i thought it might melt. Although it was expensive, but it was affordable. There was also this chocolate where the basket is also made out of chocolate and it was so mouth watering. But too bad i didn't buy it.
Soon, it was taka time(taka time means lunch time). We went to Sweet Lips for fish and chips to have our first meal in Perth! I sat with my friends from the chinese dance group and we had a fun time laughing. Hahaha! When the food came, there were 2 big fish with a lot of fries on the plate. I thought that I could not finish it and i was right. By the time I ate 1 and a half of the fish, I couldn't eat anymore. I forced myself to eat it finish but still couldn't. So i ate the fries.
After having a very full lunch, we boarded the bus to orchard glory farm. It was a 2 hours drive to orchard glory farm, on the way there many of us slept. When we reached the orchard, we toured around it. There were many trees. But most of them were orange trees. They showed us how raisins are dried and they brought us to this "stall" where there sell apricots, raisins and more. I wanted to buy them but i was saving money for the rest of the trip.
We proceeded to the farm to check in andrest. My cabin number was 10. I was staying there with 5 other people. The teacher showed us around the cabin and told us to meet outside the office in 1 and half hours time. Then our leader said that we should have a plan where we could save time and covenient those who has long hair. We unpacked our things and got organized while waiting for the time to pass.
When it was time, we waited for the teachers outside the office. When they arrived, we started our dinner. The dnner was very nice, we had spaghetti and salad. For dessert, we had ice cream and peach. After dinner we went back to the cabin to do our activity book and went to sleep. That was the end of the day of day 1.

I was so excited as my parents sent me to Changi Airport Terminal 3. By the time I got to the airport, many people were there already - shrieking and chatting merrily at the sight of each other. I collected my lanyard and yellow cap from my teacher and got into my coloured group. Soon, we were told to gather in a big group and a big banner was unfurled for a group photo. I can say for the rest too that I felt like mega stars with camea flashes all over my face. I kind of like the feeling of that few minutes of glory up there. Soon, I was hurled to check-in my luggage. I had to wait very long as there were many other people checking in their luggages. I did not mind the waiting as I got to talk to my friends.

Soon, I boarded the plane and I was relieved to find out that I was seating beside a girl. Luckily, there was an aisle seperating me and a boy. The plane took off and all of us waited excitedly to reach our destination,Perth. Most of us fell asleep as it was a midnight flight.

I woke up when I heard the voices of the air stewardess, asking people what kind of drinks they wanted. For me, I just asked for a plain cup of water. After that, they served breakfast.

The plane taxied at the runway and soon all of us were queuing at the Australian Immigration counters. The teachers asked us to fill up the immigration form and they also made sure we did not bring in any food. After I cleared the immigration counter, I went to the toilet to freshen up before boarding the coach to begin our first day in Perth.
